Did you ever see the “Mac parody” commercials in which a Mac (the cool guy) fools around with the baggy shy and not so goodlooking PC? Good commercial, bright idea. People at Apple are really catchy at this and they know how to get the job done! Steve Jobs said once that people using a PC do not have taste. Ooorright, Mac is cool, Mac is nice, is trendy and shiny, but when it comes to work (I mean work, NOT play with widgets or listen to music!!) well, the experience can be troublesome…
So I found this video… illuminating!! It’s exactly my experience with the Macs I use at work (note: the Macs, more than one, so it must be statistically more significative than using just one): It is as the guy in the video - a professional editor - says:
Working on a Mac is not so much operating a computer, it’s sort of tricking it, fooling it in doing what you really want to do …
I am not posting this to claim some sort of PC superiority but just to speak out the truth: Mac is NOT the best thing ever, and sometimes, it really sucks.
